Troy University (My alma mater) Chinese Student Union hosted a New Year's celebration for The Year of the Rat. They have a pretty big Chinese student population who participate in the
1-2-1 Program. International students attend a university in their own country for one year, travel to Troy University for 2 years, then back to their own country for their senior year. They end up graduating with two degrees; one from their country and one from Troy University. It is a pretty neat program. When the director of the prgram found out we had such a big local group of children (one hour south in Dothan), she asked if the children could participate in the fashion show. So...
here are the girls and Troy University college students in the New Year's fashion show. Gracie was ready to do her "fashion dance!"She is holding Ally's hand to help her be brave. At the end of the show, the girls got red envelopes with a Chinese coin in it.
